Refund Policy

Our Commitment

At Displaced, we want you to be completely satisfied with your AI-generated pet portrait. We stand behind the quality of our products and offer the following refund and return policies.

Digital Products

Due to the nature of digital products, all sales of digital downloads are final and non-refundable. Once you have received access to download your digital portrait, we cannot offer a refund.

Preview Before Purchase: We provide a free preview of your generated portrait before you purchase. Please review the preview carefully to ensure you are satisfied with the result before completing your order.

Technical Issues: If you experience technical difficulties accessing or downloading your purchased files, please contact us and we will assist you in resolving the issue.

Physical Products (Prints)

Damaged or Defective Items

If your print arrives damaged or with a manufacturing defect, please contact us within 14 days of delivery with:

  • Your order number
  • Photos clearly showing the damage or defect
  • Description of the issue

We will either send a replacement at no additional cost or provide a full refund, at your preference.

Shipping Damage

If your package was damaged during shipping, please document the damage with photos and contact us immediately. We work with our fulfillment partners to resolve shipping-related issues promptly.

Lost Packages

If your order has not arrived within the estimated delivery window, please contact us. We will investigate with our shipping partners and either reship your order or provide a refund.

Quality Concerns

Our prints are produced by professional print partners to high quality standards. If you believe your print does not meet reasonable quality expectations, please contact us with photos and we will review your case.

What We Cannot Refund

  • Dissatisfaction with the AI-generated image itself (please use the free preview)
  • Orders that have been delivered to the correct address
  • Damage caused by the customer after delivery
  • Orders where incorrect shipping information was provided

Cancellations

Digital Orders: Digital orders are processed immediately and cannot be cancelled.

Print Orders: Print orders can be cancelled within 2 hours of placing the order, before production begins. Once your print has entered production, it cannot be cancelled.

Refund Processing

Approved refunds will be processed to the original payment method within 5-10 business days. Depending on your bank or credit card provider, it may take additional time for the refund to appear on your statement.
